Why I Am Excited About BEST Practices: Seattle

October 17, 2013

BEST Practices: Seattle is 30 days away, and to put it in terms that fellow 80s children will understand, I’m pumped. We are putting the finishing touches on presentations, parties and plans and it is shaping up to be a truly inspiring event. A few things I am looking forward to:

Demonstrations

We are working hard to make sure that we have the perfect mix of strategic and tactical. The presentations will span between helping you dream about what is possible and then showing you how to start making it a reality. We are also mixing in a layer of live demonstrations that will make things even better.

Presenters

Justin Cutroni, Andrew Myers, Caleb Whitmore, oh my! Each of our speakers brings an impressive amount of expertise and experience to the table. But what I find most exciting is their excitement. Everyone that we have speaking truly gets kid-at-Christmas-happy about data and customer insights and their energy is contagious.

You

I’m not going to lie – I hate schmoozing. I love talking to people, but something happens to me at networking events. I panic, lose the ability to speak coherently and have a deep longing for my mommy. But BEST Practices events are different. All of the conversations I have had at past BESTs have been interesting, engaging and far less panic-inducing. Everyone has been excited to find new solutions to interesting data problems.
